FAQ

  • Game Theory will take place in Kyiv, Ukraine. The event will be held at the Kyiv School of Economics, located at 3 Mykoly Shpaka Street.

  • Yes, participation in Game Theory is free of charge. Selected participants will get access to all the lectures, practical sessions, and study materials.

  • Since we have many international speakers and participants, all lectures, workshops, and discussions will be held in English. However, please note that the school's introduction day will be conducted in Ukrainian. For international participants, there will be a slightly adjusted format to accommodate language differences.

  • We have designated a shelter at KSE that can host all the participants and provide uninterrupted learning. In the event of an air alarm, we will immediately proceed to the shelter in accordance with our safety policy. Clear instructions and guidance will be provided to ensure everyone’s safety throughout the process.

  • Yes, we plan to issue 2 ECTS credits upon the successful completion of the course, including the submission of your final project. These credits will be issued by the Kyiv School of Economics.

  • Yes! International participants are welcome. We are excited to have participants from all over the world! If you require a visa, we can provide an official invitation letter. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions — we’re happy to help!

  • Yes, we welcome applications from everyone! While selection is competitive and based on the strength of your application, a clear and specific motivation is key. If you feel your experience is limited, focus on explaining why you are excited about game theory and how attending the school will help you achieve your goals.

  • No, advanced knowledge of data science is not required to apply. However, we do expect applicants to have basic analytical skills.

  • We review applications on a rolling basis, typically every 1-2 weeks. You will receive a response within this timeframe once your application has been reviewed. Thank you for your patience!
